Thank you to Mrs. Sienkowski's class at Ben Franklin!
Lucky knows four hand signals!
Lucky lets me pet her stomach because she trusts that all hands are good.
Lucky had all dark hair when she was little.
When we have to wait in life, it's good to stand up tall, breathe, and think about how good Lucky is at waiting with a treat on her nose.
Lucky leaves her treat on the floor as she runs back and forth. It would not be good for her to eat a pill that could hurt her.
Everyone enjoys petting Lucky and she loves those "good hands!"

Lucky gave out a few free kisses too.

Lucky spells, reads the word "operation" and does math! She practices every day so she doesn't forget.
The Lucky Look is good when you need to get someone's attention.

We would like to say a special thank you to Ella Gutenstein and her mom, Amy, for making our fun day possible!

Keep working on those Lucky Lessons!!If you comment or ask a question, we'll answer you on this blog.

The Y Indian Maidens welcomed us Sunday, November  24!
Carrie introduced us! Thank you!
Lucky waits patiently while treats are placed on her nose and paws.

Lucky spells her name and does two story problems. Lucky loves math!
We can use the Lucky Quiet Signal to keep ourselves from saying bad things about others. WAIT and think before you speak! Be a girl of "right action" instead of "reaction."
We all should picture others with a "Handle with Care" sticker on them to remind ourselves to be careful with each other. I hope you took some stickers home to put on your family members?
Lucky has to wait to eat her treat. She ran back and forth three times.
Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!  We hope you enjoy your Lucky books and remember to share them with others! Please feel free to comment or ask questions on this blog and we'll get back to you.

Every dog likes to have her chin scratched!
Look at all of these "good hands!"
Lucky gives some kisses!
These boys are good at waiting patiently!

When we have to wait for things in life, it's good to practice!
We had good participation from our 2nd graders!
Lucky reads the word "operation!" She also spelled her name for us.
We need to pay attention all day to what we are doing with our hands. Lucky believes everyone has "good hands" and would never hurt her or each other.
It's not easy to wait with a treat on her nose and paws!

Lucky looks like she'd like to read a book!
Good job doing the Lucky Quiet Signal. This is good to do if we feel angry.

Lucky sits up and waves "hello!"
Lucky gives me her cute Lucky Look!

Was Lucky able to read the word "operation?" YES!

Happy Thanksgiving from Lucky!

Lucky enjoyed seeing this Thanksgiving Day turkey on our walk! She had to sneak up to it to see if it was real.  (Thank you to Gabe for letting us take our picture!)
Lucky is thankful for so many things like her walks, the snow, rabbits, and a warm home. She is also thankful for all of YOU who have made her visits to your schools so wonderful. She loves all of your "good hands." And what are you thankful for this year? Try to think of things that cost nothing or can't even be bought like smiles, fall leaves and family. Happy Thanksgiving!

Ben Franklin 6th Graders Welcome Lucky!

Lucky waits with treats on her nose and paws! We can WAIT too rather than saying something bad about others.
Patience!
Lucky To Be Friends teaches us to choose close friends who ARE nice, not just people who CAN BE nice.
Lucky trusts everyone so she takes a little nap!

Thank you to Mrs. Mecchia for taking such great pictures!
Lucky sits up and waves with her paws!
