Lucky Loves Memorial!
Lucky visited the 2nd and 3rd graders.

It was raining when we arrived so Lucky had to wear her raincoat! 

In our new Christmas book, Lucky goes out and about and finds this snowman. She wished she could play Keep Away with him. Lucky loves adventures! (But Good is another dog who is afraid to ever leave his dog bed.)

Lucky hopes this Santa will be OK!

By the end of our story, Lucky decides she'd  never want to be anyone but herself! She knows we love her even though she's not perfect! She put on her Santa hat to think about her next adventure and thought "Any day of the week, I'd rather be Lucky than Good!"

Lucky visited Hamilton and Polk Elementary Schools!

We talked about how Lucky trusts hands. She believes none of us would ever use our hands to hurt her or others. We are all very fragile and break easily! We must be careful and take care of each other.

The students do a good job of practicing their Lucky Lips to help them be good listeners and be quiet when someone else is talking.

In our Christmas book, we met a dog named Good who is too afraid to ever leave his dog bed. Lucky, on the other hand, goes out and about in the world every chance she gets. LIFE is more interesting that way!

Lucky is always asking herself  "What would my teacher or parent say?" if someone dares her to do something. She knows she should "wait" and think first!

Mrs. Renn tries to get Lucky to eat her cheese! Lucky is so good at waiting and we can be too if we practice like Lucky!

Hello Bailey Elementary!
   Lucky and I were so excited to come and visit you yesterday. We hope you keep practicing your Lucky Look and Lucky Lips to help you pay attention and listen while others are talking. Your behavior was awesome during our programs!

       Always remember to be the best YOU you can be!

Mrs. Cox tries to get Lucky to eat her cheese on her nose and paws. But Lucky knows to only listen to her teacher and parent if someone dares her to do something.

In our story I'd Rather Be Lucky Than Good, we meet Good who is a dog who tries to be perfect. He never moves from his dog bed but we soon see that LIFE is about meeting new people and going new places like Lucky does.

Lucky can read the word "operation!"

Lucky enjoys all of the "good hands" petting her. She believes no one would ever use their hands to hurt her or each other.

   In our new Christmas book, we meet Good who never leaves his dog bed for fear he'll do something wrong.  Even though Lucky isn't perfect, we love her just the way she is. She loves learning and meeting new people, and every day she tries to be the best dog she can be. That's a good lesson for all of us!

Lucky is getting ready for another birthday on December 19! It's hard to believe she will be 9 years old. She's been doing programs since she was 2 years old.

Lucky visits Liberty 2nd Graders!
       We read I'd Rather Be Lucky Than Good ,and the students took home discussion questions and Lucky book information.         Most of us decided we'd rather be like Lucky who loves going places, meeting new people and adventure! Even if we're a little nervous at first, some risks are worth taking to have new experiences.
     We learned it's also important to always ask ourselves "What would my teacher or parent say?" if someone dares us to try something that could be dangerous. That's what Lucky does to stay out of trouble.

We read the first book Lucky Lessons and then we talked about all the things Lucky is good at like listening, waiting, and accepting others. Lucky loves everyone! She believes that everyone has "good hands" and would never hurt her, their pets or each other.

We can use the Lucky Quiet signal to help us be quiet when others are talking.

Lucky listens with her ears, eyes and heart!

         And she exercises and eats healthy snacks every day! 

Lucky was running around the gym getting ready to meet the great Lincoln students and staff!

Lucky waits patiently with her treats on her nose and paw. She always asks herself "What would my teacher or parent say?" before she does something.

Lucky visits Ridge View School!
 All of the students got to hear the new Lucky Christmas book I'd Rather Be Lucky Than Good! Most of us agreed we'd like to be like Lucky who loves to go places and learn new things!
