"Patient Lucky"
This wonderful oil painting was given to us by my talented friend Jean Ranstrom from Alexandria, Minnesota. Jean is recovering from some surgeries, and she said Lucky's ability to wait with treats on her nose and paws has helped her to WAIT and be more patient as she heals.

Lucky has some more advice for you:

 1)  Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride!

    2)Take naps!

3) Play with your friends!

4) When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently....

Here's Harvey, the Great Dane!

Harvey will be helping the students practice their Lucky Lessons here in Florida. Mrs. Spangler has a handsome boy there. Lucky was very interested in Harvey's dog bed when we visited the classroom!

Lucky loves everyone's "good hands!" 

The students will be working on the Lucky Lessons and reading all the Lucky books, and Mrs. Spangler will be bringing in her Great Dane, Harvey to help them!

  Once a week, we walk down the street to pick up our grandchildren and Lucky comes along. She greets the kids out at recess with her "happy howl!" Then she watches out for us as we walk home.

And yesterday, Lucky spent about 5 hours playing at the Canine Cabana!

"Stay curious" is Lucky's message for the day! Meeting new people and trying new things make life interesting!
